Stand-alone music player with GrooveShark and Last.fm support.
Requirements
Windows:
- a Windows Operating system
Linux:
- Wine for Linux or run from python source
For Flash plug-in (Windows):
- Flash for Internet Explorer (ie. you should be able to access grooveshark.com with your IE browser).
So, 0.354 and earlier broke itself today. 0.355 should get you back on track. Enjoy. Proxy stuff should maybe almost work, haven't really tried it in this version.
I istalled the proxy like explained and tried some different proxy's right now {http, http/connect, socks... with gateway, without gateway, mostly <=1sec reaction, and >95% availability}
and it doesn't work... I update the settings and then I start the search for an artist... I wait for 5 to 10 seconds in average, but I find nothing.
I live in Germay and Grooveshark was closed here 5 days ago, so I'm forced to use a proxy

I'm not sure how well/if the proxy stuff will work. You've tried the same proxy using your web-browser and it works? I'll try and add some screenshots/instructions to see if that helps and continue to work on it.
At the very moment no proxy works for my computer... anything is blockung... win-Firewall or something. Didn't fix it yet. So I'm not qualified to say wether it works or not... better I try to get proxy work and reply again
thanks
